The Teething Monster OR Why I Got Nothing Done This Week

The one we like to call Peanut is teething.  He popped out a couple of teeth a few weeks back, and there seems to be a particularly difficult one coming through now.  For him this means: no naps, crankiness, chewing on stuff and lots of tears.  For me this means: no naps, crankiness, being chewed on and lots of tears.

Mmmm, cold watermelon on hurty gums.

You’d think it would be easier third time around.  And it is.  Because you know it will end.  That little tooth will finally push through, and naps will return.  And if it all goes to crap, and he doesn’t sleep all day and everyone’s had enough, well, you go and get ice cream.

Anyway, that might go some way to explain why there has been little to no craftiness around here this week.  I managed this card.  Quick, easy, pretty for my pretty friend.

  1. Bleurgh.. teething sucks. We finally have the bottom two pushed through. It’s been horrid. Joel was a breeze with teething, hardly made a noise but Noah is a different story.
